About Ocotillo Equine Veterinary Services

Dr. Anne Marie Wilson grew up in Cave Creek, Arizona. She earned her B.S. in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2005. She completed a one-year internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, California.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. Wilson has practiced in both Thousand Oaks, California, and the Cave Creek area, providing care ranging from preventative medicine to emergency services for horses from pleasure companions to Olympic-level athletes. Her approach emphasizes continued education, collaboration, and individualized care to ensure the highest quality outcomes for each horse.

At Ocotillo Equine Veterinary Services, she is dedicated to strengthening the bond between horses and their owners by treating every horse as if it were her own.

When she is not working, she can often be found hiking local trails and spending time with her husband and three sons at various athletic and school events.
