Annual Physical Examination

Internal Organ Health Profile with Complete Blood Count & Fecal Analysis (with individualized deworming strategy)

Core Vaccines (EEE, WEE, Tetanus, West Nile, & Rabies)

Routine Dental Float w/ Sedation

Hoof Radiographs (two views Left and Right Front) for farrier care

Routine dentistry with motorized power tools with sedation

Dental Radiographs

Simple extractions can be performed on the farm, and when indicated referrals are made for more advanced procedures with boarded equine dentist.

Diagnostic imaging

Radiograph: digital radiography allowing us take high quality images in the field to provide for a quicker diagnosis and better treatment for your horse. Our images are electronically stored and can be recorded onto a USB drive or emailed as needed.

Ultrasound: portable ultrasound machine allowing us to evaluate soft tissue injuries as well as internal organ structures. The images are stored electronically and can be recorded onto a USB drive or emailed as needed for your convenience.

Emergency Care

Collaboration with EquImed and Phoenix Equine Veterinary Services for emergency services to existing clients/patients in good standing when we are available. To reach the on call veterinarian please call 480-621-9293

Prepurchase exams

Pre-purchase exams for those who are considering purchasing a horse. This exam evaluates the following:

The horse’s conformation & Body condition

Vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, and body temperature)

The respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, neurological, reproductive systems

Oral and dental exam

Ophthalmic exam

Lameness exam, including hoof tests and flexion tests

Internal Organ Health Profile with Complete Blood Count, fecal, Coggins, drug screens
